Didn't think to make a reservation since this place has been open for a while.... Was able to be seated in less than 10 minutes BUT it was outside. So definitely ensure your seats prior to visiting! My food was so tasty and fresh! Loved the Yuzu fries. Their espresso martini was also very delicious! The chorizo scramble dish was good but very little in portions. The Aussie coffee... could have skipped. Overall it was great and I will be back with a reservation!

Omg! I had the most amazing experience here! Let's start with the ambiance! It's so green and inviting! The servers are very friendly and not overbearing. This place was packed on Friday Morning and they didn't miss a beat! We had the best service and the best food! We started off with drinks and the food was absolutely amazing! We even tried vegemite! Now its definitely an acquired taste but it wasn't bad and it brings an authentic Australian element to the restaurant. The BBQ pulled pork Benny was a 5/5! The biscuit was soft and flavorful! The Maple and blueberry pancakes were a 5/5! Some of the best pancakes in the city. The fried chicken biscuit is something serious! 4/5! The golden latte was the perfect way to end brunch! 5/5! Citizens of Montrose definitely deserves its spot on the Houston brunch scene.

Recently visited for a Saturday morning breakfast with some friends and it was delightful! The vibe was very inviting and perfect spot to come on the weekend. Coffee was some of the best I have had in awhile, and the eggs benny was cooked to perfection and made for the perfect amount of food. The only downside was towards the end, the service was a bit slow to get the check. I would also highly recommend making a reservation as is pretty busy on the weekend, along with parking is a hit or miss. So earlier the better.

Yaay I finally tried this place! This is a solid breakfast spot food checks out. The pancakes were really yummy - the bananas. Theh serve a solid espresso martini! My signature beverage!! I ordered a side of smoked salmon for protein in was tasty and I had asked for egg whites fried hard but they just brought regular cooked egg whites...any who qualms are service is kinda slowwww. But my waiter was friendly. Also the biggest issue is theee parking. Big yikes. It is a small lot that they share with velvet taco and it is almost always full so you may end up circling the block for street parking. The restaurant is pretty small and a large bar consumes most of the space. Overall decent breakfast spot just anticipate a wait and no parking. I had a reservation which I highly reccomend you make otherwise you may end up waiting up to 45 mins.

I enjoyed every moment ‼ From the ambience/vibe & Decor The Service was immaculate , no flaws or shortcomings! Great team! The food was exceptional. My Acai Bowl was a 10/10 incredible, i will be back for my healthy cravings. My Fiance ordered the overnight oats and i had a bite , it was delicious! 10/10 The fresh juice was also great! I never write reviews, but my experience here was so great that I feel obligated to. Everything from the food to the atmosphere to the service was incredible! I almost went somewhere else for lunch, and I'm so glad I stumbled upon Citizens instead.
